In this competition, 5 points are allocated for a win, 3 points for a draw and 1 point for a lost. Each team played 9 games so plenty of opportunities for spectacular goals and outstanding saves. At the end of the event, the scores were calculated. Waiting for our school to be announced with an impressive 31 points, 17 goals scored and 5 conceded we finished in 2nd position. Monday 12th November 2018 – A different kind of event this afternoon at Tor Bridge High. Instead of our normal competitive format, we focused on learning new skills, meeting new people and working together as a team. Children from different schools were mixed up to create different teams so that the emphasis was on getting to know new people and working together as a new team. The children worked on different activities, looking at passing/shooting/defending and dribbling. It was great to see children from different schools mixing so quickly and soon showing off some excellent teamwork. Well done to everyone who took part today – you all played incredibly well and there was some great friendships developing between the schools

Devon Games
Congratulations to both the year 6 netball team and year 5&6 girls cross country team that represented Plymouth at Torbay in the Devon Final Games. With a very muddy, tough course, this was going to be difficult for the girls Cross Country team. Nerves were setting in at the start line, but our girls showed why they were selected by finishing 6th overall. Indoors the netball team got off to a good start drawing their first match this giving them confidence into the remaining matches. Playing against the top teams in Devon this was no easy tournament, unfortunately the team drew 2 matches won 1 and lost 3, not progressing into the quarter finals. Both Teams you were amazing an incredible achievement, you should be very proud of yourselves.
